Leveling the Playing Field for 2e Families

Navigator Kids AI is a parent education platform founded by Rachel Whitcomb, helping families of twice-exceptional (2e) and neurodivergent children ages 5-12 navigate IEP advocacy, emotional regulation, and school communication. Based in [Location], we provide research-backed tools, scripts, and guidance for parents who feel overwhelmed by the special education system.

Founder's Note

I Built What I Wish I Had.

I didn’t set out to build a platform. I set out to protect my child.

Like many parents, I trusted the system at first. I believed that if I showed up prepared and communicated clearly, the school would do what was right. I assumed we were on the same team.

We weren’t.

I sat in IEP meetings where my child’s struggles were minimized and their needs delayed under phrases like "wait and see." I watched a bright child begin to doubt themselves—not because they couldn’t learn, but because the system wouldn’t adapt.

What became painfully clear was this:

"Schools operate with timelines, procedures, and legal frameworks. Parents operate with concern, hope, and urgency. That imbalance isn’t accidental. It’s structural."

I stopped looking for reassurance and started looking for patterns. I studied how decisions were made, how documentation was weighed, and how language shaped outcomes. I realized that willpower wasn’t the problem. Infrastructure was.

Navigator Kids AI is the result. It is a system—built on years of lived experience and collaboration with advocates and clinicians—designed to give you the infrastructure you need to be an equal partner at the table.

We built this so you don't have to spend years learning the system the hard way just to secure the support your child needs to thrive.
